Yoochun Sends Video Message to Fans

…in English?

On August 25th, JYJ’s member Park Yoochun finished his two-year public duty service, finishing his last day at 6pm. However, fans were later surprised by a video message from Yoochun, thanking them for their support and messages “all the while.”

What’s perhaps the most…unexpected about this message is that the whole thing is in English. Normally, it is the international fans who have to suffer and wait for a translation as Korean is the primary language of Kpop artists but it seems like Yoochun has gone back to his Virginia roots this time. Luckily, Eng-Kor translators are just as efficient so the Korean fans didn’t miss out. The Korean and Japanese versions were also released on Vlive and JYJ Japan respectively, so fans from all over the world could understand his sentiments.

Check out the video below. And try not to cringe at the awkward “Hi, guys.”
