One would think that all fast food restaurants are the same no matter where you go.
Surprisingly, that is untrue!
McDonald’s is one of the worlds most recognized fast food chains, yet in different places of the world, their menu varies greatly.
When visiting South Korea, these are my top five items one must try from McDonald’s menu.
McDonald’s Signature Grilled Mushroom Burger
An absolute personal favorite, the grilled mushroom burger is unlike no other. 100% angus beef, sautéed mushrooms and onions, topped with mayo and Italian Balsamic sauce. Only $9, this meal includes McDonald’s new signature waffle fries.
The 1955 Burger
A regular hamburger, but with a special twist. Topped with some bacon, tomatoes, caramelized onions and barbecue sauce. According to McDonald’s this burger is a re-creation of the original McDonald’s burger from 1955.
McSpicy Shanghai Burger
McSpicy Shanghai Burger is a very popular choice in McDonald’s. The spicy seasoning used to bread the chicken is unique to Asia. If you are a fan of spicy chicken sandwiches, you will surely love this.
Hot fudge dipped ice cream cone
Most of the Mc Donald’s discontinued chocolate dipped cones in America. Luckily for South Korea, they still sell this treat for less than two dollars. This is a perfect treat to eat while strolling down the streets in Seoul on a hot summer afternoon.
One of South Korea’s most popular foods turned into burger. With a patty made of pork and glazed in classic Bulgogi sauce, this burger is certainly unique. The burger is one of a kind and definitely something to mark off on you Seoul Bucket List.
