Preparing for the 2018 Winter Olympics

The Winter Olympics is coming, and will be headquartered in PyeongChang next year. A series of events held in the heart of Seoul and one of the host cities, Gangneung.
The events give to visitors practical experiences of some sports practiced in the winter. With 166 days left before the games start, the Organizing Committee is working with these practical experiences in virtual reality.
Visitors can try out five sporting modalities like: ski jumping, speed skating, biathlon, bobsled and luge.

The Organizing Committee in conjunction with the Seoul city government and the provincial government of Gangwon-do is organizing the boblesd festival.

The activity performed on a giant water slide, participants can enjoy the sport, not on the ice, but sliding in the water from 22 up to 300 meters.

The Bobsled Festival sits on Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul.
Practical experience events will take place in the Seoul area, open from 10 am to 6 pm,everyday. In the Gangneung area open from 10 a.m until 6 p.m., but closes on Mondays.
