The Mamamoo‘s girls returned with the mini album “White Wind”, last part of the project “Four Seasons Four Colors”. Where ‘White’ represents Wheein‘s color and the last color to be displayed.
The track “gogobebe” is a reggae song inspired by a Latin guitar rhythm. Where the melody and lyric was partially written by Solar and Moonbyul, where it was inspired by “Zzang” of the legendary soloist Kim Gunmo. Which also participates by expanding the use of rhythm.
The song also talks about leaving the past relationships and moving on. And also about the uncertainties of the future.
In the showcase performed by the group to present the new album, Hwasa explained, “We’ve been showing our moody and mature sides, but for our new single, we returned to our original concept with a thought, ‘let’s just be us and enjoy ourselves. ‘”
Moonbyul talked about the title track chosen by the group saying, “‘Gogobebe’ means ‘let’s just have fun.'” I hope the song could give people some strength in their hectic daily lives. We’d be pleased if the song does its role. “
Solar also said, “At some point in our lives, we all have sad and happy moments, and I hope this song could lift your mood up at those times.”
And Wheein completed, “The past one year has been a new challenge to us. There have been tough times, but I think we grew up a lot musically. It will always remain the meaningful time, “
They will be performing their concert in April. Meanwhile, “White Wind” also includes 6 other songs, “Where R U,” “Waggy,” “25,” “Bad Bye,” “My Star” and “4season.”
