Although “Legend of the Blue Sea” might not have been the most popular drama while it aired since it had to compete with other dramas that were also ongoing, it is still sad to see the drama end. Although, there were a few things that we’ve learned from the drama series Legend of the Blue Sea.

  1. Be careful how you treat people

Cha Si-A who was in love with Heo Joon-Jae, but was rude to Heo Joon-Jae’s mother who was also the woman working in her own home as a housekeeper. However, Cha Si-A regretted her actions towards Heo Joon-Jae’s mother when Cha Si-A figured out that the housekeeper she was continuously acting rude to was the mother of her crush. Then when Cha Si-A tried to apologize for what she’s done the mother of Heo Joon-Jae forgave her but the mother didn’t want Heo Joon-Jae to be more than friends with Cha Si-A.

  1.  Everyone Loves Their Mother

After Heo Joon-Jae’s mother abandoned him, he still desperately tried to find her. Then when they were reunited after years of being apart Heo Joon-Jae greeted his mother welcoming her back saying he missed her. Even though Heo Joon-Jae and his mother have been apart for years, they still care for each other and trust each other.

  1. You Can Always Find Friends To Support You

In toughest times, friends stick together. Legend of the Blue demonstrated their true friendship multiple times. One example would be when Heo Joon-Jae was about to be killed by his own wicked stepmother. Tae-O who was worried for Heo Joon-Jae drove down with Sim Cheong to save him. Likewise, Jo Nam-Doo who helped Heo Joon-Jae put his own greed aside to help Joon-Jae capture his step-family demonstrates loyalty. This shows how much Heo Joon-Jae and his con friends truly care for one another. Although this isn’t the only friendship in the drama, the relationship between these three share an important and strong bond.

  1. Despite What People Might Think, The Power of Hearing Thoughts of Others Isn’t That Good

In the drama, Heo Joon-Jae begins to hear Sim Cheong’s thoughts. It annoys the heck out of Heo Joon-Jae most of the time because it distracts him from sleeping. However, later in the drama, Cheong get really upset with Joon-Jae because she felt she had no privacy and threatened to leave. Joon-Jae’s solution was to listen to music with Tae-O’s headphones so he couldn’t hear Choeng’s thoughts.

  1. And Finally… Love Transcends

In Heo Joon-Jae and Sim Cheong’s past lives they were in love, and in their current lives, they found each other in yet another romantic relationship. They proved that the two will continue to love each other and find each other as time goes on. As they are reborn as new people, Heo Joon-Jae and Sim Cheong will still search for their other halves in the world and continue to love each other indefinitely.
